China Southern Airlines, the largest airline in the People's Republic of China, announced that starting Sunday, Oct. 29, it will launch two new routes: Guangzhou/Hong Kong/Singapore and Guangzhou/Bangkok/Kuala Lumpur.
China Southern Airlines is the first airline in China to operate these two routes.
Passengers departing from either Singapore or Guangzhou may now easily connect with a stop in Hong Kong. China Southern Airlines will offer this new route three times a week, using a 198-seat Boeing 757.
Passengers flying on China Southern Airlines not only can generate new Sky Pearl Club mileage but will enjoy preferential airfares by flying on the same routing on China Southern rather than changing to a different airline in Hong Kong.
On the same day, China Southern Airlines will launch another new service: Guangzhou/Bangkok/Kuala Lumpur. The airline will dedicate either a Boeing 757 or an Airbus A320 for this new Wednesday, Friday and Sunday service.
The airline has discontinued its previous Guangzhou/Bangkok/ Guangzhou service on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Ranked No. 1 in passengers carried in China for the past 20 years, China Southern Airlines (www.cs-air.com/en) connects more than 80 cities around the globe. Major business and vacation destinations served in China include Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Guilin, Hong Kong, Kunming, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Wuhan; international service includes Amsterdam, Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Los Angeles, Osaka, Penang, Phnom Penh, Seoul and Singapore.
