Porcelain Insulator Works is a large scale State-owned enterprise
which has been entitled to conduct import and export by its own. It
covers an area of 0.12 million sqm and has a staff of 1100. With the
total asset of 140 million yuan and the original fixed asset value of
75 million yuan, it has achieved the total output value and sales
volume of over 100 million yuan. For years it has taken the leading
place among its trade in terms of main technical indices such as labour
productivity, profit, per capita profit and tax, per capita output,
profit and tax rate on funds.
It mainly produces high tension electric porcelains, high tension
lightning rods and high tension isolators of various kinds with the
annual output of electric porcelains exceeding 10,000 tons.
A comprehensive insulators manufacturer,it produces a complete
range of products in several hundred varieties as follows: disc
suspension insulators (0KN--300KN), anti-pollution type disc suspension
insulators (70KN--210KN), pin type insulators, porcelain cross arm
insulatons, rod type insulators for electric railway, indoor and
outdoor post insulators, indoor and outdoor wall bushes, porcelain
bushes and shells for high tension electric appliances, autovalve
lightning arresters, zine oxide arresters, isolators for electricity
and isolators for electric railway.
The factory has been focusing on techical upgrade and technical
progress, making full us of new technology and new equipment,
developing new products and continously improving its technological
level. At present, the factory has been equipped with world-advanced
automatic computerized fuel car-bottom furnace and static-pressure
equipment and a series of advanced equipment like efficient jet car-
bottom furnaces which were awarded national scientific and
technological progress prize. With its strong technical developing
power and perfect physico- chemical research equipment for porcelain,
160KN anti-pollution disc suspenion insulators, anti-pollution rod
insultor for railway contact net were awarded Scientific and
Technological Progress Prize and Excellent New Products Prize at
ministerial and provincial level. Three products including metal oxide
arresters won national patents; 70KN anti-pollution suspension
insulatiors and rod insulators for railway passed the inspection of
international standard and other advanced standards in foreign
countries; line post insulaters, suspension insulators, rod insulators
for railway, outdoor rod insulators and line post insultors have
reached international level in terms of main performance. Now, the
factory has become a high-tech enterprsie.
Since 1960s, its export volume has been increasing annually. It can
produce and export a lot of high and medium level products in
accordance with world advanced standard. It has sold its products in
more than 20 countries and districts and has invested in setting up
overseas factories specialized in the manufacture of electric
porcelains and arrestors through the export of technology. In 1992, it
was entitled to conduct import nd export by its own, achieving an
export value of USD 4 million.
With its exquisite workmanship, pefect test method and well-
operated quality control system, the factory is able to take the lead
in this country in terms of its quality level, thus winning a
reputation for its quality at home and abroad. It has won the title of
"Export Product Quality Trustworthy Enterprice". Its domestic advanced
heavy gradiant test apparatus, thunder and lightning tension generators,
inspection equipment for high-tension and mechanic performance
guarantee the quality of its products. Up to now, there are 10
products such as line post insulators, suspension insulators, anti-
pollution rod insulators have passed the test of world authoritative
test institutions and met the requirements of performance indices for
heavy gradient, thermomechanical big electric arc; Rod insulators for
railway and 70KN suspension insulator won the titles of and quality
products at ministerial and provincial level; High-tension line rod
insulators under 20KV and disc suspension insulatiors under 300KN have
passed the inspection from the national Inspection Center; And the 70KN
suspension insulators have won the first place in the national
appraisal for products of its kind. |
